Product Review: Crabtree and Evelyn Damask Daily Cleansing Foam

Got this delightful face wash as a gift from my dear friend N today.
Absolutely loved it!
Leaves a cleansing touch to the skin and leaves the skin oil free for many hours after

Product Score: 8/10

Product Review: Phillips Easyshine Ionic Stylic Brush

phillips brush

Pretty in pink, nifty to handle
but unfortunately that is all this baby has to offer

not to sure abt its promises to add a shiny sheen to your hair
or to smoothen out fly-aways and frizzy ends
cos it sure didnt work for mine
(my hair is pretty stubbborn tho)

Overall, would reccomend it if you have a couple of bucks to spare
and would like something seemingly techy to brush out your kinks ;)

Product Score: 6.5/10

P.S. comes with free AAA batteries, allows you to make use of it ASAP

The grass is indeed always greener on the other side
but once you cross over, prob you realise the grass is greener on your own side to begin with

At the end of the day, guess it’s better to just live in the moment,
soak up the experiences, and when it’s time to go or move on, i think we will know

He leadeth me

He leadeth me, O blessed thought!
O words with heav’nly comfort fraught!
Whate’er I do, where’er I be
Still ’tis God’s hand that leadeth me.

He leadeth me, He leadeth me,
By His own hand He leadeth me;
His faithful foll’wer I would be,
For by His hand He leadeth me.

Sometimes ’mid scenes of deepest gloom,
Sometimes where Eden’s bowers bloom,
By waters still, o’er troubled sea,
Still ’tis His hand that leadeth me.

Lord, I would place my hand in Thine,
Nor ever murmur nor repine;
Content, whatever lot I see,
Since ’tis my God that leadeth me.

And when my task on earth is done,
When by Thy grace the vict’ry’s won,
E’en death’s cold wave I will not flee,
Since God through Jordan leadeth me.

i’ll fly away

Some glad morning when this life is o’er,
I’ll fly away;
To a home on God’s celestial shore,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

When the shadows of this life have gone,
I’ll fly away;
Like a bird from prison bars has flown,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)

Just a few more weary days and then,
I’ll fly away;
To a land where joy shall never end,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)

Skeletons in the closet

“Every surgeon carries about him a little cemetery, in which from time to time he goes to pray, a cemetery of bitterness and regret, of which he seeks the reason for certain of his failures.”

La philosophie de la Chirurgie. Part II, chapter I. Translated by Roberta Hurwitz.

The patient

“The individual on whom we operate is more than a physiological mechanism. He thinks, he fears, his body trembles if he lacks the comfort of a sympathetic face. For him nothing will replace the salutary contact with his surgeon, the exchange of looks, the feeling that the doctor has taken charge, with the certainty, at least apparent, of winning.”

La philosophie de la Chirurgie. Foreword. Translated by Roberta Hurwitz.
